How it works

The Data Send service is designed to be secure, your files cannot be downloaded by anyone else other than the person(s) you sent the files to. You can also password protect the download link. We have included captcha protection (unleachable download links) by providing a code on screen that must be entered by a human before the download is unlocked. All files are transferred over a secure SSL connection.

The progress bar provides a real time indication of your file upload progress, including an estimated time for completion.

The file is then scanned for viruses.

Step 4

You are provided with the file links and your notification emails have been sent. If you want to delete the file, copy and paste the delete link in to your browser and you will be taken to the delete page. You can also do this at anytime, by logging in to the file tracking area of your account and clicking on the delete ID link provided. Only the sender/owner of the file can delete the file manually. The delete link is not provided in the notification emails.

 

If you have entered a password to protect the download link, you must contact the person direct to give them the required password to download the file.

File Tracking

You can login to the file tracking area to access the following:-

outbox: See the files you have recently sent, with links to download or delete them provided.

inbox: See any files you have received from other Data Send UK account holders.

account: Change your contact details or login password.
